DCT was contracted to explore design concepts for a large residence in need of a Kitchen remodel. The client was looking to have a new kitchen constructed in an unused area of the home. Working as a design consultant, in association with Zimbler Architecture, DCT provided an overall kitchen layout, complete with an 11 foot long entertaining island, new appliances, finishes, extensive prep space, and dry bar. Also updated was the adjacent powder room, which received a custom wallpaper mural, updated lighting and plumbing fixtures.
By opening the space into an existing adjacent corridor, and adding additional windows to flood the space with natural light, the finished kitchen will be sure to wow guests and contribute to the character of this stunning federal style manor.
This project is on-going, slated for completion in Spring 2022.
